Chinga 89.2 grams

Chinga is an iron meteorite which was found in 1913 in Tanna Tuva, Turvinskaya, USSR. It is classified as an Ataxite.  Upon etching with acid many iron meteorite slices will reveal a beautiful pattern, called the widmanstatten pattern, but Chinga does not show any pattern.  Polished surfaces look smooth as glass and are highly reflective.  Chinga has a fairly high concentration of nickle, about 16 %.
